Fred is a writer, actor and director currently based in Naarm/Melbourne. His theatre work explores dysfunction and alienation through the surreal, mundane and satirical.

In 2024, a staged reading development of his play Daniel was presented at La Mama theatre as part of their Explorations program. It investigates whistleblowers, AI, and military surveillance under capitalism.

In 2021, he attained a Master of Theatre (Writing) from the Victorian College of the Arts under the tutelage of Raimondo Cortese. His graduation project was Alison Goes to ALDI for Her Aunt, which toured Sydney and Melbourne in 2022 alongside his play Notes from the Moonee Ponds Canal. A review of the latter noted "a petri dish of densely connected ideas," and "razor-sharp observation into social dynamics."

In 2020, he attained a Bachelor of Communication from the University of Technology Sydney, majoring in Creative Writing and Media Arts & Production. His projects there often explored technology-driven alienation.
